David Moore, Senior Vice President, NAI Capital

David Moore is senior vice president of NAI Capital with over 36 years of experience in various fields of commercial real estate. His development background makes him one of the top brokers in Southern California for redevelopment projects.

David will talk about the status of cell and Wi-Fi, current carrier cell lease deployment, and the fact that thousands of cell leases from the mid-’90s are nearing expiration. He will provide insight to assist property managers and brokers on what carriers are trying to negotiate versus what should be accepted, what to consider if a carrier wants to lease space from their clients,  and what effect 5g will have on all properties and consumers.

He will also touch on the rollout of Distributed Antenna Systems, (DAS), macrocell deployment and microcell deployment, and how Google, Facebook, and others are rolling out their own Wi-Fi networks, and how that will change the playing field.

This session offers improv techniques to help you embrace versus brace for the future, with the goal to better adapt and connect to the opportunity not the obstacle. Apply the principles of improv to the notion of moving forward on a personal, professional and organizational level. Leave this session re-energized to meet the demands of the industry and respond to whatever comes at you next.

Colleen Moore, Second City Works

Colleen Murray is an LA-based actor with a unique combination of performance and business skills. While pursuing acting and improvisation in Chicago, Colleen was simultaneously cultivating a strong business background as a licensed salesperson in commercial real estate for a national building portfolio. Her combination of stage presence and sales acumen created the perfect blend for Colleen to be a Lead Workshop Facilitator & Program Designer with Second City Communications.

Cini Apostol, RPA®, CPM®, CCIM Executive Vice President, Property Management Operations Kidder Matthews

Executive Vice President, Cini K. Apostol is responsible for the overall office operations, quality control and service delivery of Kidder Mathews’ Property Management Services in Southern California and Arizona. She enhances the strength of our Southwest Region with her tenure with Kidder Mathews and decades in commercial real estate and is a shareholder in the firm.

Michael Garner, CPM®, SCSM President, CEO Athena Property Management

Mike Garner is one of the founding principals of Athena. He has an extensive background in commercial property management, having managed directly or indirectly over 20 million square feet of office and retail, throughout Arizona and California.

As President of Athena, Mr. Garner is responsible for directing the daily operations of the company, which include oversight of property management and leasing. Mr. Garner also coordinates the firm’s client relations, marketing and public relations.

Katherine Corwin currently serves as Vice President of Research & Analytics at Irvine Company Apartment Communities.
